About the Artist
Maria DiMauro was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received a BFA in Painting from Arcadia University in 2001 and an MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 2007, where she earned the 2007 Faculty Award. Maria has worked as an Adjunct Professor at Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania teaching courses in drawing.
Always engaged in the act of Drawing, she works from direct observation and found images, as well as from invention and memory.
Maria is a member of the Cerulean Arts Collective located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
